Little data exist on carbon cycling across taiga shield lakes in sub-arctic Canada. Funded by NSERC - Advancing Climate Change Science in Canada, this project pairs field-based research with laboratory incubations to create process-based knowledge of carbon fate in sub-arctic lakes.
